What if the freedom you have been given was never meant to be kept for yourself? Paul writes that we were called to be free, but not free to indulge ourselves. Free to serve. Free to give ourselves away. That is the kind of freedom Jesus modeled, and it is the only kind that truly lasts. Are you using your freedom to grow in holiness, or just to stay comfortable? Are you free enough to serve?
