The Bible says, "God so love the world that He gave..." (John 3:16). And when we begin to understand God's generosity, then we want to be givers, too! Sharing our tithes and offerings, then, is never just about funding the work of the congregation (although our contributions do make that work possible). Instead, giving is fundamentally an act of worship! "We love because He first loved us" (1 John 4:19), the Bible says in another place. And because we know how richly we've been blessed, we're thankful for the opportunities to be a blessing that our giving makes possible.
When you make a gift to support Calvary, 15% of your congregation will be used to do ministry beyond our congregation, usually through our local, national, and global ministry partners. However, you can also designated your gift to fund specific needs of our congregation, or to support various mission efforts in our community and beyond.
If you have questions about our congregation's ministries, if you'd like a copy of our church budget, or if you would like to discuss making a special contribution, please don't hesitate to contact our church administrator, Hannah Robertson.
